Via Mariana is a pilgrimage route from Braga to Muxia and seeks to connect some of the main sanctuaries in the Iberian Peninsula in a unique experience that combines culture, heritage and nature.
The tour is made along paths that no one has gone on for more than 50 years that have recently been opened for an experience full of traditions, legends, unique places and historic villages.
Despite the distance, with our electric mountain bikes the moments of discomfort disappear. The powerful motor helps during even the steepest inclines, giving way to a packed set of positive sensations.
scenic spots
Along the way, you will pass by several scenic spots such as the Sameiro Sanctuary in Braga and the Santiago de Compostela Sanctuary. You will be able to rediscover a new historical, artistic and even gastronomic heritage ready to be known by all those interested in joining culture and leisure in an E-Bike experience.
Peneda GerÊs National Park
Via Mariana also crosses part of the Peneda Gerês National Park, where you will discover the narrow streets typical of the Vila do Soajo mountain, with special attention to the traditional granaries that are part of this historic town. You will also pass through the Mezio gate, one of the 5 main gates of the Park and also through the Nossa Senhora da Peneda sanctuary with a wonderful surrounding landscape.
